VCF MINIMIZES THE GARBAGE MENACE IN KISHORE PURA

VCF cleaningA garbage removal operation was organised in Kishore Pura under the aegis of the Vrindavan Cleaning Fund on 22nd September, 2011. The office of Friends of Vrindavan was approached by Shri Sant Maharaj, the Temple President of Shri Krishna Chaitanya Gauriya Math at Kishore Pura. He came along with Shri Ram Narayan Brajwasi, Vice-President of Brajwasi Brahmin Sabha. Sant Maharaj said that after the completion of the road building some construction rubble was left by the government departments. Then the garbage was accumulated over this construction rubble by the residents. It becomes a menace when the garbage is scattered all over the road by the pigs.
Although the VCF cleaning operation was scheduled at Kesi ghat, the location of the drive was changed due the cognition of the urgency of cleaning the location of Kishore Pura first. After the drive the devotees of the Ashram distributed Prasad to the volunteers who cleaned the area. FoV Director, Jagannath Poddar, Municipal Sanitation Associate Shri Raj Kumar Saras, Shri Ram Narayan Brajwasi and some other residents were present during the operation.
Today’s operation was conducted with the support from the Yash Birla Group.
